Protothon is a large design hackathon hosted by Dubstech at the University of Washington in collaboration with Design Buddies. In 2024, the event brought together over 650 participants across 200+ teams competing in three different challenge tracks. Teams had approximately 28 hours to design and prototype a solution before presenting to a panel of industry judges.
We chose the Classic Track Design a marketing website for a small business Pilates instructor specializing in Fletcher Pilates, focused on scheduling, FAQs, and communicating her philosophy.
We designed a warm, welcoming experience using soft colors and playful illustrations to avoid intimidating or overly corporate fitness aesthetics, emphasizing an independent, woman-owned studio feel.
I was responsible for the UI design, visual consistency across screens, and building the interactive prototype used in our final presentation.

This was the slide deck that we submitted for our project. We used a storytelling approach through the lens of Gloria, a recently injured woman who's seeking out a way to be active without creating more injury. We go through her journey and experience of her approaching Aditi's business website.
We got 1st Place in the Classic Track! The judges highlighted the strong visual identity and how clearly the design met the business and user needs. I was more than elated because it had meant that the all nighters were definitely worth it!
